It would be great if....
....if my dog liked chewing on tires that smelled like real tires. It smells just like the discount tire store, and that is a problem. My dogs wont touch it. They love to chew on other Kong toys, but this one has been untouched since the day it arrived. It gets an occasional sniff but nothing more. My feeling is that because it smells like real tire, it probably tastes like one as well which cant be good. If they could make it without the odor and assumed bad taste, it would be great. Kong Traxx perfect for my dog
My dog is a HEAVY chewer... destroys most toys within a few minutes. KONG brands are great for him, but he only has a few of their toys. This one is new and I can place carrots inside the inner tire and when he's done, he can chew on the tire. Oliver has had this Kong tire for a couple days now and it still shows no sign of cracks or tears. Seems to be holding up pretty good. My precious little prince is a 15 pound Yorkie mix and chews up the original Kong toy for extreme chewers within 6 hours after me giving it to him. He's gone through six or seven so far. Useless for medium or large dogs - toy breeds maybe
