This is my second unit. The first unit had to be replaced due to a missing battery clip (my mistake) and was 3 years old. Make sure to wear it properly on the belt clip to get the most accurate count.
I recently acquired the OEM Fitness SPORTLINE PEDOMETER.
It is accurate as long as I don't wear some thing constrictive over the meter, a coat for example. It has failed to count my steps on those occasions. I have NO idea why, maybe it restricts movement enough to fail counting. I like the meter because it will not accidentally reset the numbers when I sit down on the bed, or rest on my side. For that reason it works better then any other simple meter I have ever owned. The enclosed casing protects these resets from happening.
