I've been using this product for a little less than a month now and so far it works great! The VGA port appears to be malfunctioning as my computer would constantly flip-flop between thinking it was connected to it or disconnected from it. The other ports all work great though. I've been just pluging all these cables into a USB hub and using a USB converter for an additional monitor. Always problems, but .... it worked. The docking station was 240 and I just couldn't do it. Now that I got this one so cheaply (comparibaly) I feel like a fool. This thing is awesome. The laptop comes in and out like a dream. There's no plugging or fiddling with drivers because it's all hard-wired in. Everything works. Getting up to go home or to a cafe is now a 3 second move instead of a pile of cables and frustration. I know it seems like a major 1st world problem type of whining, but I probably spent at least an hour a week fiddling with cables and dealing with idiotic problems when that hub spazzed out, or I plugged a USB into a port it hadn't been in previously and suddenly it's installing everything again.... ugh. Monitors suddenly not appearing. Having a phone charging on the hub kicking everything out of wack, etc... Worth every penny.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Boring ... it does what is is supposed to do and is in really good shape ... way I like it.
Needed the higher power dock for an upgraded ThinkPad. Everything I've checked seems to work OK. Typical Lenovo ho-hum good performance; nothing about which to gripe. The USB 3 sockets speed up off-board back up storage; USB 2 sockets for printers, keyboard, etc. External LCD screen works fine. If you have lots of peripherals this is a must have!
So darn helpful to be able to connect monitors, speakers, hard drives, etc and still be able to access take you laptop on the go. It's a shame Lenovo doesn't use this design anymore.
