At first, one wonders how a movie about ants could ever be entertaining. Ants, they are creepy and they bite! Also ants are not heroes like Iron Man, Captain America. Thor or the Hulk. However, the true point of the AntMan movie is not about the ants but about AntMan himself. Marvel did a superior job of shifting the focus away the ants yet keeping them well involved in the story line. Soon the ants were allies and somewhat lovable, if that is possible. Disney, Marvel Studios and Director Peyton Reed were able to do that and much much more. Michael Douglas was a master piece of casting as Dr. Pym. Another example of great casting was Michael Pena. Mr. Pena keeps the cadence of the show moving along smartly with funny and engaging talking points. The playful interaction between Mr. Rudd's and Ms. Lilly's characters went from an evolving initial dislike for each other, to a soon growing attraction one might witness between two potential lovers. The sparks between them were subtle and very well done. Over all AntMan is a movie making technological event as well as a very well told story. Thank you Read full review

This movie is incredible. A ton of fun with brilliant action and hilarious dialogue this is another fantastic win for Marvel. Paul Rudd plays a likable and charismatic hero who really makes you root for him and his goals. Michael Pena is the real heist of this film as he steals every scene that he is in. Corey Stoll as the villain was a fantastic choice from Marvel. He can play the corporate business man and an intimidating villain. The visuals are stunning in this film. All of the tiny ant scenes are visually outstanding and hilarious. The are two post credit scenes which are fantastic and really tie into the larger universe. Ant Man is a fantastic movie which is worth your money and I suggest that you see it in cinemas. Hal Aje

This was a very enjoyable film. The characters were all very engaging, the story was fine (it was good but nothing spectacular), and the acting was very well done. My biggest problem with the movie (as with most Marvel movies) was that the entire movie feels like a set-up towards the next movie. Most marvel movies of this era have felt like set-ups to the Avengers movies or to sequels, and each movie does not feel like it is its own project. Overall the movie is very good, it could have been better, but still definitely better than the last few superhero movies Marvel made (Avengers Age of Ultron, ending of Iron Man 3 to name a few).

I'm glad Marvel included Hank Pym's character in the story, it would've been a good movie without it but it was better with this inclusion. I was happy to hear Ant-Man will be making another appearance in the new Captain America movie. The movie was full of action and comedy too. A great movie for the whole family!

We LOVED Ant-Man. We saw it in the theater when it came out but it's been a while so now we bought the Blu-Ray so we can watch it again every once in a while and also to show it to a visiting friend from Europe who has never seen it. He loved it too!
