Came across this in My Monthly old Zombie movie search. It pays an unlikely homage to the original characters with a few twists. Some of the Characters are humorous to say the least, this is a very light hearted romp in the original story line. Ben, Barbara, Johnny all done pretty good. Coopers 'Plant Farm' is definitely not what the tuxedo wearing uptight guy in the original would be in. Again, it's entertaining, definitely a pizza and beer movie. If you can get it cheap pick it up. If you love the genre, and are a purist, well don't get this one, but if you like all extremes, you'll enjoy it.

I enjoyed watching this movie back in 2006 when it first came out. I just don't like wearing 3D glasses for a long time. I did not see the 2D version in the store. It was years later when I found out that there was a 2D version. This movie is definitely worth adding to my collection. I like the idea of the zombies coming from a mortuary where corpses have been piling up instead of being cremated. Sid Haig has always been one of my favorite horror movie actors.

This movie starts out awesome. The only thing I hated was the ending was so stupid. Sid (house 1000 corpses) was the one who created the zombies all because he did'nt want to creamate because of a fear of fire. He then stored them for two weeks and then they broke out. But I will say it is a lot better that these so called zombie flicks that are being made today.
Good
