Notes2015 solo debut album by the country artist. Already a world-renowned songwriter, Stapleton has enjoyed five #1 hits including songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, George Strait and Luke Bryan. Recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A (with additional production at The Castle and Blackbird Studio), Traveller was produced by Dave Cobb (Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell) and recorded by Vance Powell (Jack White). In addition to renditions of Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove's 'Tennessee Whiskey' and Don Sampson's 'Was It 26', the album features twelve original songs, including fan-favorite "Sometimes I Cry".

  • I Can Relate, from Yester-Year

Though glorifies behavior that 'most' Who live long enough understand IS the Problem, the tunes appeal and are catchy. From my perspective on Life, being well past (1960) the view of living Life under a cloud of alcohol and/or cannabis, I can sympathize with the fleshly struggles of 20s-30s Age. Should the Artist continue to 'evolve' as most, he will begin to craft Songs about how the blur or haze is just a waste of time. A search for inner peace, what's it all about, is Everyone's testimony. The emptiness of nothingness. His popularity may help him accept the responsibility of leadership, revealing his discoveries to actually answer the 'big' questions of One's Life.

  • Fantastic

Now this CD is what I'm talking about!!! Great country music from beginning to end. Chris should have been cutting his own singles years ago rather that writing them for others to make millions on.

  • pure dope!

recently discovered chris stapleton and i have to say i am hooked! blues infused country at its best. stapleton's raspy but powerful voice is filled with soul and passion. don't expect the typical pop-country you hear on the radio with this one! highly recommended.

  • CD

Was not happy with the quality of the paper sleeve can't hardly read the words on the paper. also the cd is clear with no writing telling you this end up. but it does play good and it's cheap

  • FIRE AWAY

Best. CD ever! I am a lucky recipient of bipolar and the song Fire Away bringing awareness of this disease to the public is just, well, it brings to light just how deadly this disease can be. Thanks Chris!!

  • Angelic

Some way, some how Chris Stapleton is able to reach down into the depths of his soul and bring out something so amazing and unique. I've never heard such perfect lyrics on a single album in my entire life. This album is simply amazing and beyond anything ive ever heard. Its purely food for the human spirit.
