worse than a drug habit
Well if you've started watching this series, you won't be the same. my family has enjoyed this and gets a little tense until the next season comes . lol well loved story and better than what is on regular tv these days not so much for the little folks, yes it has the things kids would be attracted to, but mostly adult entertainment. put the kids to bed and spend some big kid time.

Best think on tv EVER.
I wish Lord of The Rings would have been this gritty, this dark, this well acted, this well written, and this superbly directed. In fact, LOTR should not have been a cheesy trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. It should have been a made for cable/DVD maxi series. You would have had better character development and the creators would have had more freedom to be as dark and as wild as they wanted. That's what Game of Thrones is: Wild and dark. It's really a show that can satisfy the most discerning intellectuals, but has enough fantasy, shock and awe, and intrigue to keep most A.D.D. knuckleheads glued to the screen. Every season is a blast. Don't believe anyone that says, "Oh, this season wasn't as good as......" Hogwash. EVERY season is GOLD, baby!!! JUST WATCH :)

Great series, good replacement copy.
Another good season of GOT. This was bought as a replacement for a library copy that had been scratched. Unfortunately, these cases are not built for libraries! Overall a great product.

Outstanding show
I purchased Season 1 for my fiancée on Valentines Day because I know she loves stories like this. She immediately fell in love with it. Now, a month and a half later, she's on Season 3! I've started something here...something good!

GoT characters/plot
For my taste, there are many characters who are very entertaining, some who are not, but their characters are still well done. Some of the scenes are more filler than really being necessary for the story line to succeed or be interesting. For me, this translates to boring. Many of the porn/battle/torture scenes (not all) get over done and just dwell too long on the event

Captivating Characters, Highly Entertaining
Each character has trials and tribulations, at one point you will dispise them, then next you will for sorry for them. One of the best told stories available on DVD, the author is pure genious with his creation of the characters and geography. I will be a fan forever, it's been a long time since I watched something that left me thinking about it, once it was over.

Is there a better TV series out there? I think not.
This series has delivered - season after season! It seems that nowadays many TV series will have episodes full of plain "filler" to lengthen the season, but in GOT, every single episode leaves me yearning for the next! I can't believe I waited so long to watch this series. I put it off and didn't think I would get into it or care for it.....Boy was I wrong! This summer, I've binged watched this whole series up to Season 6.

Story, settings, costumes, horses...this series has it all! Hardcore violence and nudity is the only thing you have to watch out for. The acting is excellent! :)
