Replacement board runs the printer just fine
This was a used/salvaged main logic board for an HP Office Jet 3830 AIO printer. The swap out is simple and the board functions perfectly. The only "pain" with the project was reintegrating the printer on my network. THis was because the IP and MAC addresses are different - of course! So you just reinstall your old printer as a new one my problem was that one on my computers has the old XP O/S and HP no loner supports this - even though they did when I bought this. It makes the printer WiFi connection unrecognizable. So, I'll just run this printer via USB off of that XP Dell computer. The only reason I did this is because I have quite a few HP 63 ink cartridges to use up! A cartridge costs twice as much as this replacement board did. Once again, this part was exactly as offered and functions fine.
