    Good Quality for the Price.

    I wasn't expecting a whole lot, due to the price of this banjo. I know how expensive they can be! When I opened the box, I was amazed at what I saw. Beautiful, and everything where it belongs. I know some have complained about not knowing how to set the bridge, while I had prior knowledge, it's been a long while since I had to set one; looking on YouTube refreshed my memory, and WAHLAH, bridge was set. It's beautiful, Only issue I have, which I can easily remedy after my 9 year old granddaughter opens it for Christmas (she's been wanting to learn to play the banjo for the past 3 years), is that there is an extremely slight separation of wood, and flaking of varnish, at the top of the neck, under the nut area. For the price I paid, it's nothing I would send the banjo back for; will fix it myself. Once I got it tuned, I was impressed at the sound quality as well, especially for the price. I can't wait to see my granddaughter's expression when she opens it on Christmas day! * I would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the small issue on the neck; had to lower it to a 4 for that reason.

    My husband Banjo after all these years.

    Bought this for husband 81st birthday. He has always wanted one. He is trying to learn to play using a beginner book. He likes the Banjo, it is lovely. Hope he learns to play it by his 82nd birthday. If not he will still enjoy strumming it. I'm glad I bought it.

    Great banjo at a phenomenal price

    After unboxing the banjo, we found exactly what others did with the neck. VERY DRY. We oiled it and let it sit. As it sat and quickly soaked up the oil, one of the strings popped. I can only assume it got too hot on the delivery truck and when it started to relax, everything started to move. We oiled it 4 more times, waiting 10 min for the oil to fully absorb and changed out the strings to DiAdarrio lights. The sound is incredible. The banjo was still relaxing and required a lot of tuning. Nonetheless I'm super happy with this banjo and would buy again.

    cheap banjo

    cheap banjo needs major set up, action 3x higher than should be, drum head doesn't fit properly, clamp ring distorted, tail piece does not fit properly, does not come with an arm rest, was not assembled properly, top string tuner does not function properly, resonator wood split where screws attach it to brackets, it will cost again as much as the purchase price to make it playable, very sub par not worth the money
