The Plantronics Calisto P620-M is a dedicated unified communications speaker that is designed for those who work remotely and need a reliable speakerphone that delivers clear audio and can be used with several other individuals on a conference phone call. The Plantronics Calisto makes working from the road less cumbersome. It is a small, wireless device with minimal accessories, and it will work with your cell phone, laptop computer, or any other Bluetooth-enabled device. It is a great tool that can simplify work, and it can also be used for entertainment purposes. The main function of the Plantronics Calisto is to be a reliable and easy-to-use speakerphone for conference calls conducted away from the office. The speaker lies flat, and on the top, you will find four large buttons. There are two volume control buttons, a mute button, and a call answer button. Make calls from your laptop or smartphone, and then control the call right from the Plantronics Calisto Bluetooth speaker. The wireless speaker features bi-directional microphones that automatically pick up the direction from which the speaker’s voice is coming so that those on the other end of the call hear voices clearly and without loud background interference. The speakerphone delivers uninterrupted, premium audio quality and uses wideband audio and Digital Signal Processing to reduce an echo or dropped calls. The Calisto 620 has intuitive call management and is able to communicate across devices. Manage settings and monitor battery life as well when you download free, compatible Plantronics Hub software, available for PC, Mac, and mobile devices. The speaker’s 360-degree room coverage ensures that the speakerphone’s audio is projected loud enough that even in a large conference room, everyone can keep up. The Plantronics Calisto is primarily intended for conference call use, but it can also be used to play music or other audio from your connected Bluetooth device. Accessories included with the Plantronics Calisto P620-M are a mini USB adapter, a lithium-ion battery, a soft carrying case, and a user manual that includes setup instructions and warranty information. The mini USB adapter allows you to connect the wireless speaker to your laptop or desktop computer in moments. A battery meter will display on your PC icon tray when the speaker is connected via Bluetooth so that you know when your power is running low. The Calisto 620-M delivers up to seven hours of wireless talk time and up to five days of standby time on a single battery. The Plantronics Calisto 620 series features two nearly identical models. The 620 is the standard version, while this 620-M version is optimized for use with Microsoft Lync. The Plantronics Calisto P620-M computer speaker is an excellent tool for those who frequently work away from the office or those who simply prefer the option for mobility when it comes to conference calls.
