    Banjira strings are the best!

    I have a male Tanpura, a Sarod, and an Instrumental (flat) Tanpura for hiking, and I bought these female strings for my instrumental Tanpura. I only use Banjira strings, as their quality is Very consistent, and the price is fair. This female set is perfect for my flat Tanpura. I have never had any of their strings break. Tone is Excellent. The strings that typically come on new Indian instruments are the cheaper no-name variety (lousy tone & easy to break), and I always swap them out immediately with a new set of Banjira strings!
