Gran Turismo 6 offers extensive replayability through multiple single player game modes. Online is still available, and personalization is largely improved via the updates. This is true for customization too, as your driver and vehicle are highly versatile. The extent of vehicles are large too! One can even drive on the moon. There are a couple things to complain about, however: 1. If you use a PS3 "fat model," there's no way you'll be able to install updates. The game will take all day, literally. Be warned, the "fat model" will overheat. 2. Very large amount of memory will be taken up by this game, so have a decently sized hard- drive.

This is my all time favorite racing simulation game series ever put out. I've been playing Gran Turismo since I was old enough to hold a controller in my hand! All the way from the Ps1 installments of GT and GT2, Ps2s' GT3 and GT4, to Ps3s' GT5 and of course GT6. There are many many hours of game play. Appropriate for any age and a huge lineup of available cars and tracks to take on. This game is great for a beginner, but also fun for the gaming pro with many challenges to test your skills. This game is worth every precious penny.

So i have both ps3 and ps4 but Granturismo 5 was a great game so i think great let me get 6 dont get me wrong the game is great. But if ur buying it now this late in the game beware that the version the game is on their is alot of bugs i believe 1.02 the only way to play the game is offline unless u update to version 1.22 , and that can take practical all day so either go to work or go to school and hope it finished and doesnt error, the bugs ive dealt with is during the first race it will freeze right as ur finish and if ur lucky it wont i would suggest save and move on , it hasent frozen on me since , but i believe because u have to update it all the way to verison 1.22 which will take a while ur best bet is to get past race 1. Make sure you know when I bought this brand new and got it yesterday. Cool can play. Nope. 20 updates and u have to watch the update error on YouTube. Have to manually download each one by one at a time otherwise u get and error message stating couldnt update. I installed it all at once it doesnt work. Now I am on update 7 of 20. Please look at that before u update this game at all. Its about 28 gb to install.

This game is definitely a step up from Gran Turismo 5. It is done along the same lines as the previous version with a lot of the same tracks, real and those that are specific to the Gran Turismo game. The plusses are that you can buy all the new cars at the dealership from the start of the game. All vehicles are available in the dealerships to include the older classics. The graphics, for the most part, are super on the game. There are more challenges it seems than in GT5 and some fun things that are a nice break from the usual of racing. Each license level is now just five instead of 10 steps to complete. The ability to tune cars is still in the game with a few less items available for tuning than previously available. The tighter control on power points for each event where vehicles must be between say 400 and 500 power points instead of wide open makes the game more challenging. Also the game seems to pick cars that are closer to where your car that you are entering is tuned to making the competition closer. The minuses are that some of the graphics, like rain and wet conditions along with things like some of the passing graphics like people are either pixelated or look like flat cutouts on cardboard. With each event set you used to win a vehicle, those are now gone with only vehicles given out for seasonal events, completing a full level, or license completion so now one must buy more vehicles from the dealerships in order to complete events. I do not like the requirement to complete each license level before advancing to the next higher level of competition but that is a personal preference. Overall I highly recommend this game to any fan of racing and it is really the reason I still have my PS3 and have not upgraded to a PS4 already.
