Excellent piece of hardware!! I do not know why the O.E.M.s forgot tailgate locks, but this kit is WELL worth the price!! Looks like an O.E.M. install until you raise the handle. Not counting the time to remove and replace the after market gate liner panel, it took 15 minutes to install the Pop & Lock. A great product in these days of cheap-outs.

I purchased this in hopes that my tailgate would lock to protect my tools. Unfortunately it is easy to just pull the handle at an angle and bypass the lock.
