One lasted six years. Other still going.
I bought and installed a two-pack six years ago. One just went bad - the alarm sounded falsely and would not shut off. The other is still working fine. I ordered two new ones.

Good smoke alarm - no battery replacement
I'm giving this four stars because after originally buying ten of these two years ago, one failed after two years. We shall see about the others. They are good looking and take up little space. Also, not having to change batteries is a big plus. I just hope the others last close to the advertised ten years.

Gives False Alarms
I have had two separate units give false alerts First at 3:30 am second on the same day at 3:15 pm that was when button was pushed to stop the alarm, it started back 6-8 times. At 60 years old, i have never had this issue over the years.
