    Perfect Replacement for OEM Plastic Cover

    This was a great kit to replace my old, leaking, plastic valve cover. Oring was easy to seat in new valve cover. Thick flanges makes me doubt it will warp like the stock plastic valve cover. Reduce 1 start because it ships with wrong bokts for breather. Plan on picking up some stainless M6 bolts to finish job. No instructions for breather assembly, but it can only go together one way when you think about it. Square washer holds reed in place.

    Product was as advertised. But it came without instructions on how to install the new “ reed valve”. Not like OEM reed valve , so I guessed how to install it, hope I got it right. If it came with instructions I would have given it 5 stars.

    Great fit but...

    Replaced the plastic valve cover with this one on my 04 sportsman EFI. No problems except when I went to attach the vent cover to the valve cover. Bolts provided were M5 and not the right size. Too small in diameter. Was able to obtain the correct ones (M6) at the local hardware store and finished installation. Other than needing different bolts for the vent, everything else is perfect. Leak fixed from warped plastic cover!
