You can't beat Bernina
I've purchased an off brand foot controller for my Bernina Record Electronic 830 sewing machine in the past. It did not work for very long. It began to buz and move the needle ever so slowly up and down. It was worrisome and maddening. I bought this one and haven't had any problems. Well worth it.

Bernina Foot Pedal
I was told years ago that the foot pedal for my Bernina 1010 was not being produced. When my foot pedal died, I asked my shop if they could find another. They told me that they could not find one and it was my responsibility to obtain one. I looked on eBay and found this one. A Bernina foot pedal that fits my 1010! It works great and I’m very pleased!
