The toaster I've always wanted.
This toaster is great! I does a good job and is just beautiful. It wasn't cheap but I hope to use it the rest of my life. I've toasted whole grain bread, bagels and even warmed up a soft pretzel. The keep warm feature is useful. I have to toast bagels twice but I like mine well toasted so that's to be expected. Love this toaster. Not cheap, but worth it. Love the features like "a bit more" and "lift and view". How many times has your toast not quite toasted as much as you'd like and you have to start over, only to have to unplug it to have it pop up? These two features let you take a look at it and add a few more seconds. It easily takes the toast down, and slowly raises it when done. It's not plastic, but metal so it's heavy. Yes toast is just lightly burned bread. This machine does it perfectly. It has a nice heavy feel to it and everything is solid which leads me to believe that it will perform for many years. It provides consistent, even toasting every day. The red knob is a WOLF status symbol and yes the toaster is a bit of indulgence.
