Great beginning for a locomotive kitbash.
Note: This is Bowser Cast loco, not Spectrum by Bachmann. This is obviously a fixer upper, and perfect for us that miss building loco kits.I was able to bring the motor back to life with regular maintenance. Since it did not come with a tender, I may not restore it to PRR, although you can never have too many K4's, I may take it in the way of a British locomotive with the addition of a correct tender, then adding the necessary details, or a hybrid PRR-UK look. That is the nice thing about this kind of purchase, there are so many directions to take.

Ok but has issues.
It runs ok but older than I thought, paid to much but this is my fault. It has parts in the drive rod assembly that are bent and poorly installed. This is very old manufactured Bachman engine that is used more than I expected.

Exquisite but fragile detail.
THE DETAILING IS ESQUISITE, better than my other K4 and it runs better too. Do check to ensure all the small parts are securely fastened and that you handle it carefully.
