Works like a champ!
Nicely designed, has some weight to it and is very sturdy. Really like the option in the 4000 series which allows extending the boom arm straight up to use as a straight stand too. Once in this position, the elbow of the stand has a hole where you can pivot, align and slide to tuck away the boom arm into the stand itself which makes it easier and compact when breaking down. I use this for my 16" crash and I also bought the 4000 double cymbal stand for my 20" ride and 16" China which has the same feature. They took a beating and nothing moved. Highly recommend it, nicely engineered!
