Inexpensive protective holster supports many concealed carry options
The Uncle Mike's nylon holsters have become my choice for IWB middle of back carry. A friend of mine uses it on a separate belt, a little above the pants belt, under any shirt, carried right side. The "internal moisture barrier" does seem to keep perspiration off the firearm, which is key in avoiding pitting. I used something else for a while and paid for it with a bit of pitting at the hammer end of the slide. I now also wear a thin armless undershirt for extra separation, but the UM holster seems to keep the perspiration off all by itself. The "slim and flexible design" promotes carrying in any position you please. The holster is so thin that I carry it easily in the middle of back, inside the waistband position and even though it is a full sized 1911, it snugs up so close to me that it all but disappears under anything larger than a form-fitted shirt. And of course it adds nothing whatsoever to the weight.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as good as they used to be
Uncle Mike’s used to make really decent nylon Holsters this one won’t even stay on your belt the belt clip is the thinnest plastic you can imagine I can bend it completely up in a U-shaped with my pinky finger nail it is so thin and every time you try and draw your weapon the entire holster comes out.
