A time machine in a box!
The experience of buying and building a Tamiya re-release kit is much like getting a time machine in a box to transport you back to the golden age of R/C cars. THANK YOU Tamiya for being savvy enough to know that there are millions out there like myself that loved these cars way back then and are willing to spend the money to buy them either for the first time or again. Something I don't see much talked about is the price of these kits. The prices of these high quality re-release kits are almost the same as when they were new back in the 80's which actually makes them much cheaper now based on the adjusted dollar amounts. Great RC build
This is the second Tamiya car I’ve owned - early 70’s it was the XR311, recently the “Frog”. The car is well designed and a hoot to build which I did with my son so this is his first! Susp nsion is robust, frame is solid, parts are made to work. Would be nice if the instructions were a little better, but it’s adequate.
