  • It's comparable to WII component cables and it works.

The Hyperkin HDMI cable for WII just works. It's plug and play, just plug the WII part into the back and plug the HDMI port into one of your HDMI slots on your TV and your good to go. What this cable does is it takes the WII's two forms of video output 480I and 480P and outputs it through HDMI. The 480I compatibility is important namely for backwards compatible Gamecube Titles that don't natively support 480P. And the 480P mode isn't bad at all, the picture quality is comparable to what you get with WII component cables: albeit, there might be some minor differences in color output. This device doesn't have any-way to upscale the image quality, so 480P is what your stuck with unless you have a device that's specifically designed to upscale 480P games. 22 dollars for this cable isn't a bad asking price in my book. So if your wanting a functional way to get good video output from your WII for a reasonable price: The Hyperkin HDMI cable does the job.

  • Fantastic

The Hyperkin Hdmi Cable is REALLY good. If you enjoy playing Wii (or Gamecube on backwards compatible Wiis) and have an HD TV, this is a necessity. Standard Wii cords on an HD TV make games look washed out, blurry and give some games (Smash Bros) input lag. The Hyperkin fixes all of that and enhances the audio as well. You just plug it in, turn the system on, go to the wii settings, change it to widescreen and 480p hd. Boom. You're done. If you are looking into this item expecting it to enhance the graphics / texture quality of games from over a decade ago, this does not do that. Nothing can do that. Although, if you are looking for 1080p, almost PS4 / X1 like graphics for Wii games, I would suggest you look into Dolphin for the PC. (The Photos I took aren't very good. When viewing in person there are no scan lines. Smartphones / cameras pick up lines and other things we cannot see.)

  • Its a good option for HDMI connection

I bought this cable and a no name HDMI dongle. I honestly didn’t see much of a difference from my component cables and the Hyperkin. The cheaper dongle had a slightly better picture. The Hyperkin is a good option just to go HDMI, but at half the price the cheaper dongle is still the best

  • Better than expected

When I bought this, I originally thought it was gonna be a slight change and overpriced. It was much more. The screen looks brighter, it’s not grainy, and it overall makes the picture so much better. The cable actually came sealed. I haven’t even tried it with the more detailed games, and it’s already very good. Not sure if I would pay 21 dollars for it.

  • Totally worth the clarity.

The Hyperkin Wii HD Cable makes the display MUCH clearer and gets rid of the grainy flecks on an HD TV. And it works with the gamecube games too! The only side affect is the tint is slightly greener. But that can easily be re-adjusted on the TV itself, so it deserves 5 stars easy.

  • Plug And Play

Easy to use! Plugging in turn on the Wii connection to HDMI already there. A perfect product for HD TVs with a Wii

  • Good product

    Good product, excellent picture quality

  • Best Wii HDMI converter

Best HDMI converter lets the TV upscale no distortion. Gamecube recognizes the connection properly and prompts for progressive mode.

  • Best Wii hdmi solution

I bought a wii2hdmi adapter a while back, sadly it didn't work with my wii games, only gamecube games. I was skeptical due to it for this product but I decided to bite the bullet and I can say I want disappointed. Obviously the Wii is limited on its visuals so don't expect a huge 1080 pic or anything like that but it is a huge step up the composite cables. For the gamecube games it's a true upscale and games look magnificent as they should've been played.
