It was my first kit and very fun to put together, I wanted one in the worst way back in the day. Anyway I dropped in a 540 motor and its plenty fast for the very basic suspension. Seems to be pretty tough but it doesn't like bumpy surfaces, enjoy it for what it is.

There are a lot of more fancier, faster, durable and sophisticated yet cheaper RC cars out there. However none of those delivers the pure enjoyment of building an RC car. I enjoyed building this Tamiya when I was 10 years old... and I enjoyed building the same car with my kids now I'm 40 years old.
