great product just a bit pricey
The price just keeps going up. I use to pay $29.00 for three pack and now the price is just under $60.00 for same product, and I know it went from 88g bottles to 95g size but that's double the price I was paying...I need for the live plants in aquarium so I have to payVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great alternative to a full blown CO2 system
I use these on 5 small 5 gallon planted tanks, 1x10 gallon, 1x20 gallon and 1x38 gallon tanks. Once you get the hang of adjusting the bubble counter to 1 bubble every 2 seconds they REALLY work! Even with LED lighting, ALL my plants have taken off in terms of growth and I even furnished 3 of my 5 gallon Betta tanks with cuttings from the other tanks! They are a little bit on the pricey side, and yes, a DIY, or paintball or even a full CO2 system with all the gadgetry would perhaps be cheaper in the long run on the 2 larger tanks, but on the small tanks; can't be beat. You CAN get the smaller 45g cartridges and adapter, but if you do the math, the 95g are more cost effective; the 45g cartridges WON'T fit in the 95g CO2 release unit; different thread.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lack of consistency between bottles of co2
It’s a crap shoot. One bottle lasted 3 days. I other bottle lasted 2 weeks. Pressure I’d different from each bottle. I think shipping temperature might have something to do with it. When bottles arrive cold, pressure is reduced. Even when allowed to warm up to room temp, those don’t seem to last as long. My last order, the three bottles lasted 14 days.
