'Outmoded' is sometimes better!
These simple incandescent night lights get a great rating because their like are disappearing from stores. Everything is going to harsher LED or sometimes irritating automatic light/dark sensing night lights. Another advantage of these particular lights is that you can switch bulbs from clear to frosted. Good design, but too bright
I am generally pleased with this night light (as modified; see below). The light is well designed and the switch is easy to use. My only complaint is that the wattage is way too high for a sleeping area; it sends a glare into your eyes. The best night light ever!
This is the best night light I have ever used. I mostly use it for going to the bathroom during the night. Unlike 4 watt bulbs, it is bright enough to see where you are going. Ok. I didn't see it was 4 watts compared to my old one was only a half of watt. this also is an old fashioned incandescent build and not LED. It has a switch which I like so I can shut it off in the day, or it would stay on all day with the automatic styled ones. It lights up the whole room, too bright for me. If your not frugal about power and don't might a brighter light this will be fine for you. I am suspect how long it will last as its not LED like my last one from Walmart-$2 and lasted 5 years- LED/ Switched and only .5 of a watt. This one is "ok"Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
