Like the color coding and easy to ready temperatures. Have had similar products before and have never used the suction cups. I just place the package in my frig and freezer. Pretty good.
It's easy to read, seems well made, and is rugged. You can tell, because it took a number of falls thanks to the awful suction cups provided. The metal clips probably work great on wire racks, but my shelves are glass. not to big, not to small of size.
You can place it hanging. It's not to big, and it's not to small to read the temp. It's great to have the current temps in either the frig. or freezer. The colors on it help you see the temp ranges. Good construction but hard to read.
Very difficult to read the temp with this product. The plastic clouds over when you open the refrig or freezer, and then you have to keep bobbing your head up and down to be able to see where the red line is which tells you the temperature. If you install it sideways, you have to stick your head in the refr/freezer to line it up. If you install it vertical the red line is still almost impossible to find. The red line is so thin it is really difficult to find it. Also, the suction cups are useless, they won't stick properly: if they aren't sliding up and down, they allow the meter to fall off. You would be better off with one of the round units as they have a large dial which is easier to read. Just my personal experience.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get a round dial thermometer instead.
This product is difficult to read. First, it fogs over when you open the refrigerator or freezer door. you have to wipe it off. Second, it has a narrow viewing angle. You can't find the red scale unless almost directly in front. If you install it horizontally, you have to move your head up and down to find the scale. And the suction cups don't stick - even to smooth surfaces. Even if they did, there's no place to put it where you can easily read it. The only place in my french door/bottom freezer refrigerator is on the inside of a door at eye height. But then it's obscured by containers in the door. But you still have the fogging problem. And the first time you open and close the door, the suction cups loosen and it drops to the bottom of the shelf.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Temp thermometer is good but...........
