Most versatile quality storage solution.
The Vario black backing line features an all around thickness of a quality item. The clear line is more flexible but is also superb and tends to be a bit more pricey. Discounts for quantity can lead to a per slot price of 3.7c on the 8S with the most economical sellers (for 100 sheets). It is a superior solution for bulk storage needs on a budget with front and back absolutely wonderful. Con: The vertical slot seals use an adhesive that can fail to easily on the black line, so that when you are holding open a slot to insert material and are getting close to the outer edge of the sheet, the adhesive can surprise you by failing too easily. This weakness is not the same in all cases and is not an issue with the clear (C) line.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality is going down; Still within the threshold though.
It used to be good up until recently, I bought some 200 of the 8s myself. In the recent versions, however the plastic base of the glassines seem to be come off, ripping off and such. May be an odd batch of bundles. But considering it made from germany and the value of stamps i store in them, it is not acceptable. its not worth sending it back to the manufacturer due to the distance factor. As a 50 year stamp collector I had to do something, my albums were dingy and yellowing and I wanted more flexibility as my collection went way past the standard commercial albums. Good for Most Purposes, One Drawback
If the price is right this product is worth buying. All things considered, the material is of fair quality but does not meet the quality of my Centurion pages when it comes to scanning. The backing has tiny holes that let light through which scatters and leaves light distortions on the scanned page (see photo).
