I use these in my rentals to alert me to clogged sanitary lines, sump pump failures and clogged drains on AC condensate pans. It is nearly a real time alert and turns a major problem into a very minor problem. The temperature alert is good for when tenants are out of town in both hot and cold weather so that you know if the heat or AC has stopped working. The humidity alert is just an added feature to me. ( freeze damage can cause thousands of dollars in repairs quickly) this freeze alarm only sends emails . The updates are every few hours . I’m not checking emails all night long. Sending txt messages or even a device you can put in your home or office that sounds an alarm or warning beep that your area that has the sensor in it is about to freeze .
