You can not go wrong with Kato. Make sure to purchase the appropriates N or Ho transformer or you can not power up the power pack! Strongly consider purchasing the Kato sound box. This is one of the best analog power packs for HO and N scale trains. Simple, robust, with plenty of power, with 1.2 Amperes, you can easily handle 3 or more locomotives in a consist with a heavy string of freight cars.
