Great coffee maker!
I've had this unit for a few months now. It is easy to setup, clean, brew and use. Brews at the perfect temp and fast while cleanup is easy with the pull-out basket. There are only 2 cons I have. First being the loud alarm(3 beeps) when finished brewing. There is no way to turn it off or down. Second is the lid for the water reservoir. It is not connected to the container and is fairly loose fitting. Neither of these things are major or would discourage me from buying again. Great Coffee Maker
This is the third one of these I've had. The first one had a problem and the customer service was very good. The unit was replaced in just a few days. I used the replacement for about 4 years. It was still working when I replaced it. It just looked old. It brews very fast and keeps coffee hot all morning. Best coffee maker I've ever owned. A Coffee Maker - with everything you need and nothing you don't!
I'm a simple guy and there was a day when coffee makers didn't involve a bunch of drama or expensive special packages (yeah I’m lookin’ at you Keurig) no gimmicks or fancy features. I’m pretty easy to please - so give me a basic coffee maker with a lighted time/timer display and I’m good to go. Granted the Mr. Coffee 10 Cup maker isn’t state of the art so you'll never see it on a Mars Mission. But it does have the basic features I like - plus a few newer ones that I have really impressed me. It’s extremely easy to use & clean - thanks in part to the removable water reservoir that is so much better than the built in types. I bought this coffee maker to replace the higher priced unit I had purchased many years ago (different model no, but other than some cosmetic trim virtually the same). I found this one online for about half the cost of the original and was delighted to find several improvements over my first one. It no longer steams the underside of my kitchen cabinets, and the coffee is hotter and (inexplicably) better tasting. The main reason I originally selected this coffee maker was for the convenience features it offered, and this remains true today. With the side entry grounds basket and removable water reservoir there is no need to pull the entire unit out from under the cabinets, or transfer water in two steps from faucet to machine, and then clean up the inevitable overspill that missed the target. From emptying the old grounds to pushing the start button for a full pot of fresh coffee takes about one minute! As a bonus it looks good on my counter. But most importantly it makes great coffee, fast. I LOVE IT, JUST LOVE IT, that's all. If you're undecided about which coffee maker to buy, just get this one. Makes 10 cups. Just the right amount for my husband and I. Can be set up ahead of time for my husband when he gets out of bed at 4am. Still hot for me at 6am. Coffee has a great taste. Good and hot. Mr Coffee's Smart Pot

The original still works great, brews very hot, tasty coffee quickly, and every 90 pots it lets you know it's time for a cleaning process.
