Its what I buy and use to fill my taxes, will buy next year....
Have been using H&R Block for years. It dose the job and seems to be secure. It does not explain everything so you do have to do some homework for some questions. I have to file in several states so it gets a little pricey for buying the additional states plus the filing fees but is likely the same price as the other brands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job of USA Taxes, but is not intuitively designed or laid out.
From previous years, it can do the job of USA taxes. Having said that. The programs are not intuitively designed or layout. (Note: when fix is stated, it means -> easier, more intuitive, less work or steps or clicks) I have suggested that they fix the file save and restore function in the business program. In order to retrieve the prior years tax return, the last years program had to be installed. I had to get tech support to help with reinstalling last years program on a new Win10 computer. I do not know if they have fixed this or not for this year. Some times a chicken and the egg problem happens with the K1 stuff. the program wants the K1 people before they were added. Business portion is deficient in importing last year data from windows 7.
The product is OK if you are going to use it on the same computer or the first time. Huge problem importing data from previous years. This applies to the Business part. The personal part works fine> No problem downloading or installing. Customer service from HR Block is horrible and useless. The community is the only place to get help and even that was not great. I was able to solve the problem after few hours. I was going from Windows 7 (Last year) to Windows 10. I am very adept in computers and still had trouble.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Software not ready for prime time
The business piece of the software at first installed but upon updating it goes into a loop In order to shut down the loop one has to go through windows task manager to turn off the program. There are unquestionably software bugs that render the business software unusable at this stage. Another negative is that one cannot get a CD so as to just try to reinstall the business software and retry it I have tried “customer service “ but after 30 minutes gave up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Buggy software, poor support. Buy something better.
Nothing but issues. Wrong product code. Could not import 2019 (from HRB). Crashed after entering all my data and would not run again -- return effectively lost. Support is awful. I have now spent 12+ hours in phone hold or chat queue. Last problem (crash & lost return) still unresolved. I can do my taxes manually in about 4 to 8 hours -- I have already spent much more than that struggling with this buggy software and inadequate support. Next time, I'll use TurboTax.
