It was new. Very disappointed The tray is very difficult to put on and needs 2 people to pull the plastic handles to line up w the tray. Not an ideal situation to be in with a baby. It looks and feels cheap. Will be looking for a new one after the holidays. Put your money towards something a little more sturdy!
