A lower cost way to get 2018 like performance levels for gaming.
i7-4770 is a great processor! Now have 90fps~, with 10 setting and Nvidia GTX 970 in WoW:BFA. Came from a FX-6350 with only 30fps~ with same 970. No mess install, Powerful Performance, Great Price
I was really worried about reinstalling my own replacement CPU, but it turned out to be easier than expected. This processor works well, and has no signs of damage. Time will tell if it's as good as buying new, but so far, I'm very happy with my purchase. You've basically got four choices. 1) i7-4770T runs at 45W 2.50GHz base frequency 2) i7-4770S runs at 65W 3.10 GHz base frequency 3) i7-4770 runs at 84W 3.40GHz base frequency ( On Ebay for 175.00) 4) i7-4770K runs at 84W 3.50 base frequency and over clocks ( On Ebay for 210.00) No brainer here, I am not going to pay for a feature that I will never use. Exactly what the doctor ordered.
Wanted to upgrade from my i5 to the i7. Not a huge difference but I definitely notice the better performance for gaming. Running a GTX980ti with it along with 32G of ram. I can run pretty much any game on ultra now as opposed to high with my i5. So thank you!
