Stainless Steel Stator Upgrade
Great replacement for my badly damaged original aluminum 5 vane stator, (pn 5130983),on my 1996 SL780. Previous owner of the PWC had abused it, chunks missing at stator vanes. This stainless steel assembly is the perfect replacement unit. I am doing a complete rebuild of my jet ski and this upgrade is well worth the cost compared to using another stock aluminum part. It buffed out pretty good using my Dremel tool and small buffing pad. According to other reviews I have read, this 6 vane vs 5 vane unit will give better over all performance. This one weighs a bit more than the stock unit but is bullet proof, and I also replaced the badly damaged impeller with a NuJet PLA 5.0 three blade impeller. Photos show before and after, a great improvement for sure.
