Good temporary protection
Ridged enough for handling and transport. The top loading makes it easy to insert the currency without fear of damage to the bill. Keeps currency from any further damage from handling and gives good clear viewing front and back of the currency. This is a very good product and highly recommend it for anyone.

It's longer to work with older money, which is fine, as it gives a nice frame to the bills. I got the uber thin sleeves from Hobby Lobby (also seen at the bookstores), which work for me as with trading cards: use the thin ones first, THEN, use the thicker plastic to hold them (these holders). I am very happy with these!

These are the rigid holders and exactly what I wanted to protect my old currencies.
These are the rigid holders for sure. Added protection for your collectors currency or other documents of this size. These are the ones I wanted and the ones I will buy again. You can display, pass them around for viewing without a lot of flexing of the item in the holder and have hands directly in contact with your collectible. The picture shows a civil war era standard size Confederate bill against a current standard size US dollar bill so you can get an idea of the size of the holder and what you can put into them.

This is what I was looking to protect my currency collection.
I had received some of these currency protectors from my Ebay purchases and I wanted to buy more to protect the rest of my currency collection.
