Xeltek Programmers are unparalleled in their performance, boasting the most comprehensive device support available in the market. However, it's crucial to be attentive to the power plug polarity—ensuring the ring is positive and the center is negative is paramount to prevent any potential damage to the unit. Should this occur, in most cases, repair is straightforward. An issue that might arise with older models such as the SP6000 is the "Unmatched Adapter Error." To rectify this, a simple service may be required on the internal power board of these older units. The incorporation of new CX Adapters necessitates a minor adjustment involving the replacement of 0805 resistor. Once this adjustment is made, the unit will seamlessly recognize and work with the New CX Adapters. The Magic Chip accessory also works Flawlessly with the SP6000 also.
