Original fusion io ssd with MLC type. For get this drive working: 1. Install to PCIe slot 2. Download HP IO Accelerator drivers from hpe support site 3. Check the Fusion IO drive status fio-status.exe -a and device name To do a low level format execute: fio-detach /dev/fct0 fio-sure-erase /dev/fct0 fio-format -b 4096b /dev/fct0 (or -b 512) fio-attach /dev/fct0 Then you can manage the new SSD drive with Windows "Disk management"

Awesome drive, ahead of its time!
Item works as described - up and running on Dell Sandisk drivers within an hour. NOTE - purchase a small chassis fan to attach to this thing - it runs HOT and will lock up if it gets above 65 C. With a small fan drawing air around it or blowing directly on the heatsync, even temps at 40 C. Definitely snag these at this amazing price point!
