A couple of years ago I was using K&N Oil Filters in my Honda SUVs, until the part of the filter where the removal nut was spot welded started developing leaks after 1000 miles. Thankfully there was no damage to either engine but after 2 I felt it wasn't a fluke and was in fact a design flaw in what I thought was the best aftermarket filter on the market. I did extensive research on other premium filters and started using WIX XP Oil Filters, which are slightly more expensive, and found they are great filters. They don't develop leaks and they seem to provide the full protection needed when the two Honda SUV Mileage Minders are asking us to drive 10,000+ miles on the Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil I use. I am confident the WIX filters are up to the task! I only wish the vendors that sell them on ebay would sell them in 2-packs or more to save shipping costs which are invariably included in the "free shipping" price.Read full review

Wix filters are of high quality. Have used them in the past but can't beat this online price - even local parts stores are more expensive. Never had any leaks or problems with Wix.

The best oil filter one can buy off the shelf. With a 21 micron filtration rating, it doesn't get much better than that.. Wix has been known for these fine features in racing and bone stock cars. In other words,. you won't be disappointed with one of these.

Wix makes a high quality oil filter. Just look at some of the YouTube videos that take several makes of oil filters apart. I have used them for years.

I really trust WIX filters. You might pay a bit more, but when the life of your engine may depend on the quality of the filter, it is a great insurance policy. Easy to install too.
