Blackberry Torch 9860 has lost its Flame!
It is a really nice phone for the money. Pros of the phone: * Lightweight even with battery installed. * Battery life is extremely good for a Blackberry * Screen resolution is really crisp and clear * 1.3ghz Processor runs apps really well and the response time for web site uploads is good. * Charge time is pretty good to reach full charge. Cons of the phone: * Uses RIM operating system 7.1, big difference from Android because some carriers don't support RIM anymore. * Blackberry store isn't loaded with Apps that you would normally use on Android or at all. Also a lot of Apps you would get for free on Android you have to pay for in Blackberry store. Ex: Gmail * Uses a full size ATT sim card and it is NOT compatible with Straighttalk ( I know because I tried). No place in settings to adjust you APN settings for another carrier besIdes ATT. * Facebook will be discontinued for it and the App is really minimal for options. So if your a Facebook fanatic, this is not your phone. I think back in the day this phone was a really good buy because it was the modern phone for the times, but it lags behind the newer versions of Blackberry. Would suggest you pay the extra $100.00 or so to buy one that's more up to date with the times. Moral of my review is: This phone is only good if Blackberry gave you a free upgrade to 10.0 operating system and upgraded compatibility with new APN's.
