Rock solid!
The boom arms are heavy duty and slide on smooth bearings. The optical quality is crystal clear, and overall it is easy to use. I added a 3MP camera to the 'third eye' to embark on some creative micro photography, as well as making surface mount electronics possible without having to bend down to the scope every 2 seconds.
