Mixes great, for less cost, well built
Was so happy to receive this great KitchenAid after my roommate took his with him when he moved... this is a slightly larger model but makes less noise and is smoother at mixing. Made a good batch of dough with ease and all the settings work great. Look forward to using it for a long time and looks great in the kitchen. A huge success
Love, love, love this machine! I'm so glad I found it refurbished, it was far more affordable and it looks barely used. It might have been a floor model. It has a large capacity bowl and is very easy to operate. This mixer saves me an enormous amount of effort and time for making a favorite holiday no-bake peanut butter cookie recipe, my sole reason for buying it. Factory refurbished is the way to go
Some signs of repair here and there - it looks like the prior owner may have really destroyed it judging by some visible solder on a few out of the way components, but the fact that it works good as new just speaks to how thorough their refurbishment process is. Getting a $400+ stand mixer for half price is a hard deal to pass up and considering this operates, and (at least on my counter) looks like a brand new stand mixer, I have absolutely no complaints. In summary: You will know this is refurbished if you give it a thorough look over, but that's a *good* thing. They're not just taking returns and slapping a sticker on them. Amazing Buy for an Amazing Appliance!
I have always wanted a Kitchenaid with the accessory hub and when I saw the bowl-lift model, I knew that was perfect for me. Now that I own and use one almost daily, I have to say it is powerful, easy to use, and very versatile. If I had a complaint, it would be with the manual. Awesome mixer! Looks brand new!
We had an older Kitchen-aid mixer that we loved, but this version is twice as good and the larger bowl and more power means it does a better job and gets mixed better because of have more room in the bowl. We kept our older mixer and use it for smaller jobs. The dough hook is incredible and is a game changer for breads and dough's. Great value, great helper
I now have a little helper in the kitchen to do the work of making bread. I now premix all the dry ingredients and add that to the mixer bowl along with water and yeast and oil and the mixer does all the rest. Very happy with the power and bought a spiralizer which is another great story with this mixer.

Best deal out there!!!
The smaller version standard mixer shakes so much that you can't do more than a small batch of cookies. You need this lift bowl standing mixer if you are doing bread or pizza dough! The more expensive KitchenAid ones aren't worth the extra cost but I honestly wouldn't go cheaper than this model.
