1983-84 Bandai/Tonka Gobot Defendor
Despite the toy being older than me, many listings I've seen show the product in great condition. The robot's torso (top of the tank excluding the turret) is painted diecast metal, the rest is durable plastic. The transformation is simple, although getting the robot head out of the turret requires specific placement. I haven't found a way to store the robot's weapon in the tank mode.
