Once you set one of the 4 channels, you’re set to go. I didn’t experience a lot of drop-out but you really can’t go further than 50’ anyway. Latency is normally an issue with most units in this price anyway. All in all it’s way better than those small wireless units that are being used. I tried many and every one has failed me. The Voco pro Ug9 was about $170 and worth the money. I did buy rechargeable batteries as this is the way to go. I didn’t notice any tone deficit at all, and it’s surprisingly very close to a cable.
