This bass is exactly what I was looking for. Single humbucker in the bridge position with 1 volume and 1 tone control. The maple neck is a little narrower than most with a 41mm nut. Jakoba fret board with medium well finished frets. Jakoba is called Brazilian cherry in other circles. It has cherry flavor which looks great with the black body and head. The body is supposedly popular and supports the deep throaty tone of the humbucker. The tuners seem to be good quality. The string action is perfect. I'm not sure what the nut material is and I might change it to bone sometime, but I think it sounds and plays great for a $200 instrument. Fit, feel and finish look great. I personally like the Ibanez bass look and feel. The same bass is offered in a natural, probably stained finish as well. It didn't come with any gig bag for this price, but they're readily available.
