This recorder actually plays in cold weather. Now that the season is changing, i put this recorder inside my shirt to warm it up, as I walk to the park. By the time I get to the park it's ready to play, which is a lot more than I can say for my other recorders.

For a plastic instrument its good. Easily plays across the full range up to high A, so its a good practice instrument. A lot of design elements went into this one, with "undercut" holes. I compared to the Yamaha. The Zen-on has a chiffier low octave, which I personally do not care for.

I’m extremely pleased with this recorder. Its responsive, easy to play, feel lighter than all my other plastic and wooden recorders. Although it came from Japan I was delivered here in Canada in under a week.

It is a very good recorder but I wouldn't consider it as good as the best Yamaha plastic recorder. I find it's tone a little airy and it's a little unstable in the very lowest and highest notes.

The Bressan is everything I expected: Easy to play, well tuned, nice sound, quite suitable for solo or chamber music.
