Great deal if you can get it for the right price
Great little tablet if you can find it for under $250. it's OK without a type cover (keyboard) but the keyboard is nessasary if you do many emails or web work. Voice recognition is better than ever as is handwriting-to-type. If you cn get used to using a Surface pen, you may forgo a keyboard. The real issue,c from a cost stanpoint, is a pen & type cover arent included & you'll spen $50 for a good used type cover. You might find a pen for $20-$30. You can get 8+ hrs of use without a keyboard with eifi on and/or watching video with braightness at around 25%. Bluetooth will reduce that by 10%. Also turn off the keyboard back light when not needed. Screen res of so high it helps compensate for the small size. FHD movies look great. Sound quality is great & pretty loud for a small tablet. Surface Go
For the price, you cannot beat the Surface go if you want a tablet / 2-in-1 for basic business needs. The screen is spectacular and easy to see in any light (although glossy enough to cause a glare depending on the lighting of your surroundings). It starts up in less than 10 seconds and logs you in immediately if you have Windows Hello enabled - keep in mind that this is full Windows starting up, not some simple tablet OS. Of course Windows has its issues, but that is why I got the Surface Pro since it is Windows based. It is a nice little tablet. I adjusted to the small keyboard very quickly. Very handy to carry around like a tablet but then operate it as if it was a laptop. My one complaint is the battery life. The battery life indicator fluctuates like crazy. I scroll over it one minute and it says 7+ hours. Next minute says 3+ hours remaining. Next minute says 5+ hours remaining. I really do not understand how it can not consistently estimate in an appropriate range. Also, the battery life overall is below average. I get 6 hours on the best battery performance (not as bright screen), and that is probably pushing it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Beautiful tablet by Microsoft - It's like having a mini pc with you!
Love this tablet although the wifey had to ask for it....Well she got it because when she thinks it's hot! it usually is lol. I recommend this tablet to anyone who needs a very light weight and in expensive tablet that will do allot beyond imagination. What really attracts me to it is the luxury of having your home desktop with you everywhere you go! So I call it a mini computer that goes where ever you go!

Notes are a b r e e z e now. The screen is high res, windows notebook allows you to do a million things, and you can attach documents into your notes. With a keyboard, you can even cover word, Excel, etc. It's the only thing I take to school now, besides a lunch and earphones.
