Get this pool. If you want to have fun in the pool but don’t want the sticker price of an above ground or in ground pool this is perfect. It was worth every penny. The filter is great, ladder could be better but it isn’t bad. The cover works well. Sturdy construction and easy to put together. You need 3 people. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Love it
While I can’t agree that it was QUITE as easy as everyone else is saying, it wasn’t terrible. However, the “90 minute set up” was NOT true for us. It took us closer to 3.5 hours, but it was totally worth it. Do make sure that you have the correct sand for the filter, as we were told we did, but upon doing more research, realized we were sold the incorrect thing. Once we got that figured out, everything else has been relatively smooth. We did have one thing broken once we opened the package, but it was too late to ask for a replacement part so we made do. Intex pool
This is the third pool like this one that I have purchased in the past 10 years. After the experience I had with the first one with the rapid rusting away of the frame, I was reluctant to purchase the second one. I did anyway because the grandkids really enjoyed it and wanted it replaced, and this particular model is the only one I could find that can be accommodated by the place I have to put it. The second one deteriorated even faster than the first. The metal was in really bad shape the last year before I had to trash it. But I replaced that one too for the same reason I replaced the first one. This one cost considerably more than the first two and did not come with a salt water system. It's still in the box!
it will not be set up until spring, so i am basing my review on my older, smaller intex pool which is 9x18 rectangle. It has been a great pool, just wanted a bit bigger. The way it held up to the Arizona heat was outstanding. Upgraded the steps and got a bigger intex pump for it. Personal preference. . The maintenance is easy and the quality is really impressive. Got the skimmer also, very nice and inexpensive addition. Solar blanket is good for one season, that's it. Does not matter what brand or how what grade it is, one season. This was our first soft sided pool and we were pleasantly surprised... after several inground and above grounds we feel this is a great choice. Peaceful summer days
I love this pool. Our family tends to get caught up in work/projects during the summers and I wanted something we could all enjoy to just chill out and enjoy some peaceful summer days. We weren't ready for a hard-sided or inground pool yet so wanted something high-quality but that was still relatively easy to setup. I'd recommend at least 2-3 people to set it up in order to move through it quickly and it can be cumbersome due to the size. We were concered as the rails started to bow inward when we were filling the pool and but as soon as the water level got higher it straightened right out. the 52" depth is nice for taller people also. Most important thing is prep - level the ground first... watch video's on setup... make the necessary preparations and you'll have a successful install. Also, I'd recommend researching the basics you'll need such as the sand for the filter, some clorine tabs, a shock, and a cleaning net. Intex 24x12
I ordered my 2nd one of these and am waiting on it...a long wait, the price is more than double what I paid for my 1st one 5 years ago. On the 1st one I went with a salt water system of which I loved the feel of the water but it ate up the steel structural members of the pool and so I had to dismember it and take it to the dump last year as replacement parts were no longer available. If I had it all to do over again I'd start off the plan and space with a round pool but I do like the 24x12 to dive in and back and forth under water and it fits in the space I have better than round. On this 2nd one I plan not to go salt water just so it won't eat itself up so fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

There's a caveat with this pool --+
The caveat with this pool is that you have to take it down in northern climates because it doesn't handle freezing temperatures. Good value
Is what you'd expect and works like a pool. Some others mentioned the pump being too small but, im using mine and dont plan to change. I used unfiltered well water to fill it and it took two weeks of persistent pump usage and brushing bit the pool/water looks great.

Intex Above ground pool
We purchased an Intex 12x24x52 above ground pool. This came shipped to us in Hawaii it was much larger than i had thought. it was not hard to set up but time consuming. the prep work for the pool was more difficult for us as we had to level an area. The only thing i would suggest is getting a better ladder, the one that comes with it is not very good for an adult to enter or exit the pool.
