    Works perfectly

    Hard to go wrong with the Intel Pro/1000. Both ports work great, speeds are excellent, card was immediately recognized. I used the full size plate already installed but having the extra is fantastic. Couldn't be more satisfied, especially for the price.

    Works great with pfsense!

    Purchased this card for a pfsense firewall build. pfsense recognized the card with no issues and a simple NAT firewall configuration can do gigabit routing at wire speed between the two ports using about 50% of a J3355 Celeron CPU. The heat sink on the card gets quite warm, almost too hot to touch for more than a few seconds. Seems to produce more heat than the CPU, so watch out for case ventilation.

    Nice dual-port card for router

    I was putting together a PC-based pfsense firewall for our LAN, and after researching the hardware requirements found that this board was recommended for use with that software. It does work well, is stable as a rock and is reasonably priced. The board was supplied with both full-height and slimline brackets, which was great because I was installing it into a mini-desktop machine. If you are in need of a quality dual-port Gig-E board, this should do the trick.
