BLACK+DECKER Saw with Battery and Charger BDCR20C 20V MAX Reciprocating saw has made my home projects and landscaping enjoyable and effortless. Just yesterday I used it to trim very thick palm branches, over a dozen, and job was done in appx. 20 minutes. A traditional saw would have taken an hour and my arm and back would be aching for days. Great product. Great Value. This is the third cordless Black and Decker tool I own(Blower, hedge-trimmer, and now this reciprocating saw) and they are all winners. Handy saw for lighter duty & occasional use.
I got this little saw for trimming small branches on some fruit trees. It is very handy for that purpose. It is not a Professional / Commercial Sawzall & should not be used, or abused on such projects. It came with a 1.5 AH battery which lasts about a half hour, with 4 hour charge time. Would recommend getting a 2.5 AH battery ( or larger, if the charger can handle it) to supplement the original battery. Not a bad machine for the money & for lighter duty projects. Lots of power in an easy to carry saw. Great for pruning limbs 4 inches or less. Keeps a strong charge until I’m ready to head back to the house for a refreshing beverage.
