Works well for the price.
Instructions are vague. Had to read a different brands instruction book. For someone who has used a transit before, it may not be a problem. I'm a new-be. The vertical arc could use a more precise vernier like the horizontal circle. More expensive models have this. Once I learned how to use it, it worked well. Good value for the price.

Cheap price. Cheap equipment.
Don't waste your money. The whole reason I picked this unit is because it also does vertical angles. Only works to +/- 30° vertically and scale is neither accurate or precise. Fine for horizontal angles, but there are cheaper units that will do that. A black hair or thread made it into the optic during assembly and is visible through the optic. No secondary view finder for rough aiming. Overall, its a cheap piece of equipment which is fine for people who will use it occasionally and don't need high precision. It's probably about harbour freight level of quality.

Works perfectly, seems sturdy

Save your money and buy a better made transit it is a toy.
There is no adjustment for the back eyepiece, the tangent knob only locks the head tight, the slow motion tangent did nothing to turn the circle. The level screws do not have enough space for your figures to barely move. The cross hairs were not level and this is straight out of the box. It is a toy I regret buying it.

Terrible quality
Terrible product doesnt turn true angles. Fine motion only works one direction. I tried it one day returned it. Also doesn't level very good
